This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to punish the respondent herein, for willful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.22349 of 2019 dated 25.11.2019.

2.When the matter was taken up today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor, submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with; subsequently, the Government has passed G.O.Ms.No.655 on 23.11.2020 and the copy of the same is filed before this Court; hence nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly he prays for closure of the present contempt petition.

3. The above said submission is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
