Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for a transfer to any one of the hospitals in Tuticorin in the light of the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.07.2020 and pas orders within a reasonable time.

The relief sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for a transfer to any one of the hospitals in Tuticorin in the light of the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.07.2020.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that there is no vacancy for the post of regular Nurse in Tirunelveli District and Thoothukudi District, therefore the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered at this time. The learned Special Government Pleader has also produced a copy of the letter dated 15.02.2022 received from the 3rd respondent to that effect.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. However liberty is granted to the petitioner to make fresh representation to the respondents seeking transfer as and when vacancy arises.
