ORDER
Mr.G.Krishnaraja, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.
2.According to the petitioners, they have inherited the properties in S.No.675/2 measuring to an extent of 4 acres 36 cents at Neelambur Village, Coimbatore District. While so, the respondents 3 to 5 attempted to grab the said properties by fabrication of documents and mutation of the revenue records. Hence, the petitioners sent a representation dated 28.06.2021 to the respondent authorities requesting to take necessary action under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007. Finding no response on the said representation, they have come up with this writ petition seeking appropriate direction to the respondent authorities in this regard.
3.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
4.Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioners' representation dated 28.06.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as the respondents 3 to 5, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
