Prayer: Criminal Original Petitions are filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the FIR in Crime No.1 of 2014 dated 27.01.2014 on the file of the 1st respondent police. For Petitioners :Mr.J.Pothiraj in CrlOP.Nos.26413 of 2015 & 4610 of 2014 Mr.Y.Deva Arul Prakash in CrlOP.No.10114 of 2014 For Respondents :Mr.C.Emalias Additional Public Prosecutor for R1 Ms.C.Shyaamala for R2 COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1 of 2014 dated 27.01.2014 on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.It is seen that the alleged offences attributed against the petitioners are under Sections 498(A), 494 and 506 (i) IPC. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioners in all the petitions are present before this Court. However, the respondent/defacto complainant has not appeared before this Court, due to the ill-health of her child.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that when the matter was referred to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Chennai, the matter has been settled and divorce has been granted and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in these petitions.
4.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioners, the entire proceedings in Crime No.1 of 2014 on the file of the respondent in respect of the petitioners in all these petitions, is hereby quashed and these Criminal Original Petitions are allowed accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
