ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to register the complaint dated 04.10.2015 made by the petitioner to the respondent.

2.The petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Sathya stating that on 01.10.2015, the said Sathya had assaulted and threatened the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner attempted to commit suicide and subsequently he was admitted in hospital wherein, he lodged the complaint. Though the complaint has been assigned C.S.R.No.670 of 2015, till date no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint lodged by the petitioner was assigned C.S.R.No.670 of 2015 and the matter is pending for enquiry with the respondent police.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner which has been assigned C.S.R.No.670 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the respondent for enquiry.

6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
