O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to deposit the balance enhanced compensation payable to the petitioner as per the order of this Court in A.S.No.642 of 2006 and A.S.No.819 of 2006 dated 19.04.2010 to the credit of the L.A.O.P.Nos.2 and 1 of 2002 respectively, on the file of the Additional District Court - III, (FTC), Tirupattur, Vellore District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2019. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court has enhanced the compensation, however, only part of the compensation amount was deposited and the remaining compensation amount was not yet deposited. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court for deposit of the balance enhanced compensation payable to the petitioner as per the order of this Court in A.S.No.642 of 2006 and A.S.No.819 of 2006 dated 19.04.2010 to the credit of the L.A.O.P.Nos.2 and 1 of 2002 respectively, on the file of the Additional District Court - III, (FTC), Tirupattur, Vellore District.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.Admittedly, compensation was enhanced by this Court in A.S.No.642 of 2006 and A.S.No.819 of 2006 on 19.04.2010. However, only part of the amount was deposited and the balance amount was not deposited. Hence, I am inclined to direct the respondents to deposit the balance compensation amount within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if otherwise there is no legal impediments. 5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
