The petitioner who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 506(i), IPC r/w 34 IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH in Crime No. 7 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the victim on the pretext of marrying her thereafter refused to marry him. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the victim and thereafter attempted to marry another girl. Further, the petitioner's parents attempted to arrange marry for the petitioner to another girl and also insulted the victim.

5. On seeing facts of the case, the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the victim under the pretext of marrying her and

thereafter refused to marry her. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 07.06.2024 pbl T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.
