Today, when the matter is listed for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, pending writ petition, the impugned transfer order has been cancelled by the Director of Municipal Administration, Chennai, vide order dated 08.06.2022. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. He has also placed the above order before this court.
2. Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
