Na.Ka.No.A7/26/2024, dated 05.05.2024 based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2024, and dispose the same.

ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to issue Patta for the land comprised in Survey No.114/6 after making sub-division for 23 cents out of 46 cents situated in Melvalaiyamadevi Revenue Village, Bhuvanagiri Taluk, Cuddalore District, vide order of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.V7/2843143/2024 dated 04.02.2025 and vide order of 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A7/26/2024, dated 05.05.2024 based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2024.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that Survey No.114/6 comprises of two parcels of land each measuring an extent of 23 cents in all 46 cents. It is the case of the petitioner that out of 46 cents, 23 cents belongs to the petitioner and the remaining 23 cents belongs to the Temple and 2/4
his representation is only with reference to 23 cents, that does not belong to the Temple.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that the petitioner's representation would be considered by the 3rd respondent and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was readily accepted by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 03.05.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, including rival claimants, if any, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
