ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 3 & 4 to not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that it is the grievance of the petitioners that the 1st petitioner is in the possession of the property as a tenant and based on the complaint dated 10.05.2022, the 3rd and 4th respondents have summoned the 1st and 2nd petitioners to appear for enquiry and frequently called them to the police station in the guise of enquiry and harassing them. He further submits that even based on the complaint, no enquiry is to be made.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to issue notice to the petitioners and if it is purely a Civil dispute, then the respondent police need not to interfere with the matter. Further, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the above directions.
