The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.65 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Sections 419, 420 of IPC and 66 D of IT (Amendment) Act, 2008.

2.The petitioner claims that he is a law abiding citizen and he is ready to abide by any condition as imposed by this Court. 3.The case of the prosecution is that there was an online scam, wherein, a message was initially sent to the defacto complainant stating that small amount has to be invested and offering higher amount would be given. 4.In this manner, the defacto complainant had lost more than Rs.30 lakhs. Investigation is required and the nature of the offence and the accused persons involved have to be examined.
