This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining wilful disobedience of the order dated 23.11.2023 passed by this Court in W.P. No. 9379 of 2020.

2. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent has placed a copy of the proceedings dated 05.06.2025 and would submit that the representation of the petitioners dated 20.03.2020 has been considered and by proceeding dated 05.06.2025, the order of the Court is complied with.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners also endorsed the same.
4. However, on consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court felt that there is an abnormal delay in implementing the order of this Court.
5. The respondent present before this Court and submitted that she joined as Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board only on 20.07.2024 and till receipt of the statutory notice, she is not aware of the order of the Court. Thereafter, she verified the records and took step to implement the order of the Court. The respondent tendered unconditional apology for the delay caused in this regard in implementing the order of this Court.

6. In view of the above factual position, this Court intends to take lenient view in this case, as the order of the Court is complied with.
7. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 06.06.2025 Index :Yes/No AT 3/4
