ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner would state that he while working as a Line Inspector, applied for medical leave and according to him, he went on medical leave from 24.11.2011 to 30.11.2011, and returned for duty on 1.12.2011, and in spite of it, he was not allowed to join duty and has been kept under compulsory wait under the oral orders. 3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, has drawn the attention of this Court to the representation dated 3.9.2014, and also the reminder dated 2.7.2015, and would submit that Thiru D.Manoharan, who is arrayed as second respondent, has played his role and the petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 2.7.2015, followed by a reminder dated 2.7.2015, praying for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

initiation of appropriate disciplinary action against him, and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.R.Dhilipkumar, learned Standing Counsel, who accepted notice on behalf of the first respondent, also.

5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 3.9.2014, as well as the reminder dated 2.7.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the second respondent and pass orders thereon, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the second respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
