O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint dated 28.10.2015.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Murthy and Kadapakal Raja stating that the above said persons forced him to sign in blank papers with intention to grab his property. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint on 13.10.2015. But, the said complaint was not registered so far. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible and if no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

prima facie case has been made out, the respondent is at liberty to pass appropriate order on the complaint given by the petitioner.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
