Writ petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 14.06.2021 and to direct the second respondent to admit the petitioner to do his internship at Government Yoga and Naturopathy College. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2021 and to direct the second respondent to admit the petitioner to do his internship at Government Yoga and Naturpathy College.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he completed his decree in bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Sciences at Himalayan University, Itanagar, Arunachala Pradesh, India and after completing the degree, he has to complete the compulsory intern. Hence, he approached the second respondent for doing his internship at Yoga and Naturopathy College, then only, he can enrol himself in the Ministry of Ayush and submitted his application dated 14.06.2021. But till date, it was not considered. Hence this writ petition.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, takes notice for the respondents.

4. By consent of the counsels to both the parties, this court takes this matter for final disposal.

5. The contention of the petitioner is that his representation for doing his internship at Government Yoga and Naturopathy College was not considered by the second respondent. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, this court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2021 and to pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
