The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 20.12.2021.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a land dispute between the petitioner and the family of one Sriram; the said Sriram had illegally demolished the entire building of the petitioner and also stolen away the machineries worth about Rs.75 lakhs; the petitioner has given a complaint on 20.12.2021; but so far, no action has been taken by the 2nd respondent police.
4. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR No.582 of 2021 has been assigned and the enquiry is 2/4
pending.
5. Since the representation has been given by the petitioner as early as on 20.12.2021, it is obligatory on the part of the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry as early as possible and do the needful in accordance with law.
6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in CSR No.582 of 2021, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and do the needful in accordance with law.
