O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint dated 28.10.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Selvaraju stating that he has collected a sum of Rs.3 lakhs from the petitioner by promising that he will secure a job to the petitioner's wife as Pharmacist in the Government Hospital. Thereafter, she has neither secured a job nor return the amount to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 29.06.2015. But, the said complaint was not registered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made by the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner dated 29.06.2015 and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
