O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners in so far as concerning the civil dispute with regard to their house property situate at present Door No.13, Nowroji Road, Chetpet, Chennai - 600 031.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was lodged by one Thilagavathy as against this petitioners alleging that they are obstructing the common pathway. The said complaint was assigned C.S.R.No.572 of 2015. Likewise, this petitioners also lodged a complaint as against the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Thilagavathy and the complaint given by the petitioners was assigned C.S.R.No.573 of 2015. Both the complaints are pending before the respondent police and in order to avoid the enquiry, the petitioners have filed the present petition.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, Criminal Side, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:- (i) The petitioners are directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

(ii) The respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioners.

5. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
