ORDER

The petitioner was granted bail by this Court on 24.02.2025 on condition that the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. Since the petitioner is hailing from the State of Kerala, his continuous stay at Chennai is causing great hardship to the petitioner. Further the petitioner is mechanically appearing before the respondent but no enquiry has been conducted. Hence, sought for relaxation of the condition.

2.The learned Special Public Prosecutor opposed the petitioner's 2/4

contention stating that after the grant of bail, the petitioner appeared before the respondent police only for a period of 20 days and thereafter not chosen to appear.

3.In view of the above, the condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police for a period of two weeks, i.e., from 11.08.2025 to 25.08.2025, thereafter as and when required for interrogation. 4.It is made clear that in the event of petitioner not complying with the condition of appearance before the respondent police between 11.08.2025 and 25.08.2025, this order would automatically stand cancelled. 05.08.2025 rsi 3/4
