Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 1st respondent to appoint Mr.P.K.Chandiran, Advocate, Erode District, as public prosecutor in the C.C.No.1 of 2018 before the Principal Sessions Judge, Tiruppur District, by considering my representation dated 04.04.2019.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking for appointment of Public Prosecutor in order to conduct the proceedings pending in CC No.1 of 2018.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that even though the charges were framed in the year 2018, there is absolutely no progress in the case since no prosecutor has been assigned with the case.

Heard the submissions of learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents.
