Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent viz. Director of Matriculation Schools, Chennai - 600 006, to accept the request of the petitioner dated 08.01.2013 and permit the students of 10th, +1 and +2 of the petitioner school to write the forthcoming annual examination starting from 1st week of March 2013.

The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the 2nd respondent viz. Director of Matriculation Schools, Chennai - 600 006, to accept the request of the petitioner dated 08.01.2013 and permit the students of 10th, +1 and +2 of the petitioner school to write the forthcoming annual examination starting from 1st week of March 2013.

Mr.V. Anandhamoorthy, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner school was not permitted to write the examination as there was no valid recognition granted to the petitioner school. 3.
In the absence any valid recognition, no school can admit students spoiling their future. Therefore, the writ petition is liable to be rejected on that score. That apart, the prayer sought by the petitioner itself has become infructuous. Hence, for the said reasons, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected M.P. is closed.
