Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of Declaration declaring the impugned Amendment Act No.6/2018 dated 25.01.2018, namely Tamil Nadu Municipal Laws (Second Amendment) Act, 2018 as such it takes away the right of claiming exemption from payment of property tax in respect of members of the petitioner association as illegal, arbitrary and ultra vires to the Constitution.

2. It is submitted that the Act under challenge in the present writ petition is the subject matter of challenge in W.P.No.18008 of 2019, with other connected writ petitions. The Act was upheld in the said writ petitions on 13.09.2019.

3. In the light of that, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP Nos.14012 and 14013 of 2019 are closed.
