O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a restricted purpose of considering the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 21st June 2017 since the respondent has not looked into the representation submitted by the writ petitioner. The claim of the writ petitioner is with regard to the alteration of her date of birth in the service records.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that though the writ petitioner was initially appointed on temporary basis, her services were confirmed and she was regularly appointed by the respondent by proceedings dated 5th February 2016. Therefore, the application seeking alteration of her date of birth falls within the period of five years from the date of her permanent appointment. Thus, it is the duty of the respondent to consider the application in accordance with law.

3. In view of the fact that the prayer sought for is restricted, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 21st June 2017 of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
