Heard Mr.S.Govindaraman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Manohar Sundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader (Taxes).

2. This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to condone the delay of 32 days in respect of the application for renewal of Autorickshaw Permit in Form PRA dated 05.11.2014 and to consider the same and to pass orders in respect of Autorickshaw bearing Registration No.TN-01-R6212 in accordance with law.

3. Though the prayer in the writ petition is for the larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2014, within a stipulated time. .

4. Considering the limited request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, I direct https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent to consider the representation dated 05.11.2014 given by the petitioner and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
