ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) What has been challenged is the notice issued under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, which is admittedly, appealable in nature.

2.In such view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of giving the petitioner a further period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to file an appeal before the District Collector, namely, the first respondent. Till such time status quo as on today shall be maintained. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
