This writ petition is filed for issuing a direction to the third respondent to consider petitioner's online application for issuance of patta dated 10.01.2017, within a period of time as may be stipulated by this court.
2. The brief facts that are necessary to dispose of the writ petition are as follows: The petitioner claims to be the son of one Murugammal. It is stated by the petitioner that his maternal uncle executed a sale deed in favour of his mother in respect of an extent of 1 Acre 4 cents in S. No.279/4B at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Ottiyambakkam village. It is also stated that the property is registered in the holdings of petitioner's maternal uncle by name Thiru.Vembuli. With a letter obtained from the petitioner's maternal uncle and the patta that was standing in the name of petitioner's maternal uncle, the petitioner has approached the Tahsildar for mutation of names.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought for before this court by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's contention or the document that may be relied upon by the petitioner, this court directs the third respondent to consider petitioner's on-line application for issuance of patta in respect of an extent of 1 Acre 4 Cents in S. No.279/4B in Ottiyambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk. Since this court found certain discrepancies to derive title in favour of the petitioner on the basis of certain document produced by the petitioner before this court, it is open to the third respondent to conduct an enquiry, if necessary, before considering the application of the petitioner, within a period of 18 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
