ORDER
The second respondent in A.S.No.7 of 2024 on the file of the Principal District Court, Ariyalur, has filed the present Revision Petition seeking expeditious disposal of the first appeal. 2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner.
3. It is stated that the 2nd respondent is aged 84 years and is eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the legal battle, which was commenced in the year 2010 with the institution of the suit in O.S.No.116 of 2010 before the Sub Court, Ariyalur.
4. Considering the limited relief sought by the Revision petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with. It is seen that the appeal was posted for arguments in June 2024. The Principal District Court, Ariyalur, is directed to endeavour to expedite the final disposal of the first appeal pending before it, and in any event, hear and pass final orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
