N188-8 New Survey No. 188/39 measuring to an extent of 1116 sq.ft. are situated at Kattuchithamur Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta standing in the name of the 4th respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on the petitioner's representations dated 24.03.2026 and 23.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, the 4th respondent has illegally obtained patta for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition in his name. The petitioner has filed documents along with this Writ Petition in support of the petitioner's representations seeking for cancellation of the 4th respondent's patta.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representations are considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent and any other third party whom the 2nd respondent deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this

Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations.

4.For the foregoing reason, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 24.03.2026 and 23.02.2026, seeking for cancellation of the patta standing in the name of the 4th respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the 4th respondent and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deem fit to enquire, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
