PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2024 so as to dispose of the Na.Ka.No.6029/2024U2 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent within a stipulated time.

ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2024 so as to dispose of the Na.Ka.No.6029/2024U2 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent within a stipulated time.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that originally petitioner's grandfather Arunachala Gounder owned and possessed 2.20 acres at S.No.1044/1, Palacode Village, Dharmapuri. The name of the grandfather of the petitioner is found and recorded in the village records. Subsequently, the petitioner applied online chitta for the said land. However, name of the grandfather of the petitioner has been inadvertently left out. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 23.04.2021 before the third respondent seeking to include his grandfather's name in the computerized chitta for grant of joint patta to him as well. Since the said representation was not considered by the respondents, the petitioner again submitted a representation before the respondents on 09.10.2024. However, 2/6
the said representation has not been considered so far. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 3 that the above representation would be considered and orders would be passed, after issuing notice and hearing the petitioner and any other interested parties/rival claimants, within the time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that enquiry was already over and what is remaining is only an order which is required to be passed.
6. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents, to pass orders at the earliest, if the enquiry is already over. If the enquiry is still pending, the respondents shall complete the enquiry and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other interested persons/rival claimants, and any other interested persons/rival claimants 3/6
on notice, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
