O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to consider the representation dated 05.02.2015 sent by the petitioner requesting the Respondents 1
and 4 to take action against the 6th respondent for interfering in the petitioner's administration of the Arulmighu Peiyandichi Amman Thirukoil situated at Thuttampatti, Thesavillakku Vadakku Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.
2.According to the petitioner, he is the Chief Priest and the administrator of the aforesaid temple. According to him, the 6th respondent is interfering in day to day management of the aforesaid temple. Therefore, he gave a representation dated 05.02.2015 to the respondents 1 to 4 calling upon them to take action against the 6th respondent for his unlawful interference in the management of the temple by the petitioner. According to the petitioner, even though the first respondent has forwarded his representation dated 05.02.2015 to the 4th respondent, no action has been taken. It is the case of the petitioner that till date, no action has been taken. Under such circumstances, the said writ petition has been filed.
3.Heard Mr.A.Nagarathinam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.S.Selvam, Govt. Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.
4.Admittedly, a representation dated 05.02.2015 has been given by the petitioner to the respondents 1 to 4. It is the case of the petitioner that the 6th respondent is interfering with the petitioner's peaceful administration of the Arulmighu Peiyandichi Amman Thirukoil sitatued at Thuttampatti, Thesavillakku Vadakku Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District. It is also a fact that till date, the representation dated 05.02.2015 has not been acted upon by the respondents 1 to 5. Even though the representation was forwarded by the first respondent to the 4th respondent, till date action has not been taken. Under such circumstances, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider the representation dated 05.02.2015 regarding the allegations levelled against the 6th respondent and pass final orders in the said representation after hearing the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent as well as interested parties in the administration of the temple within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
