ORDER

Petitioner seeks for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to provide electricity connection (domestic purpose) to the petitioner's premises viz. Plot No.73, 1st Street, Bharath Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai 600 099 based on his application dated 1.7.2015.

2. Learned counsel for the first respondent-Board submitted that the second respondent raised an objection.

3. If such is the case, then the first respondent has to consider the objections and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the petitioner to submit a copy of the documents, which he has in his possession, before the first respondent and on receipt of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same, the first respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner and second respondent, hear both of them and take a decision in the matter in accordance with law. The above direction shall be complied within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
