Respondent Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the Statutory Revision filed under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 by the petitioner on 9.1.2010 and the same was received by the respondent on 12.1.2010.

ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to dispose of the statutory revision filed by the writ petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983, on 9.1.2010.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner was appointed as a Salesman in the Co-operative Society on 1.10.2003 on daily wages and subsequently, he was terminated from service.

3. Challenging the order of termination, the writ petitioner preferred a revision petition before the first respondent on 9.1.2010 and the same is yet to be considered.

4. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the revision petition filed by the writ petition on 9.1.2010 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
