This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the complaint in Crime No.17 of 2023 which is under investigation by the 1st respondent police, wherein the petitioner is arrayed as A7.

2. The gist of the complaint is that the complainant been allured to part away nearly four crore on the promise that the accused person will arrange him a loan for Rs.100 crores.

3. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the investigation reveals that this petitioner has adopted a similar modus operandi in six more cases and those cases are pending against him. He has also been detained under Goondas for a while. The defacto complainant through his Counsel had opposed this petition.

4. This Court, on perusing the complaint which has reflected in the F.I.R finds that it is a case for speedy investigation and not for interference by this Court exercising power under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. 2/4

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 03.06.2024 Index : Yes/No.
