Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2016 regarding appointment on compassionate grounds to the petitioner herein as a special case in the light of the order passed in C.No.N1/32534/2013 dated 26.06.2014, within a time frame.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2016 regarding appointment on compassionate grounds to the petitioner herein as a special case, in the light of the order passed in C.No.N1/32534/2013 dated 26.06.2014.

Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, submitted that a proposal has already been sent by the third respondent on 26.6.2014 recommending the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment. In any event, within eight weeks, the petitioner would be appointed on compassionate ground.

3. Recording his statement, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner and do the needful within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
