This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.265 of 2010 on the file of the first respondent police, for offences under Sections 6(ii) and 6(iii) of TNSC (RDCS), Order 1982 r/w 7(1)a(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 as against the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.265 of 2010, filed a charge sheet and the same is taken cognizance on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate - 1, Panruti.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
