O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for hearing.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2015 and grant eligible scholarship under the Backward Community scheme.

3. The petitioner, who belongs to Backward Community, has completed higher secondary education at Government Nandanar Girls' Higher Secondary School, Chidambaram and passed the examination successfully by scoring 678 marks in total. The petitioner is studying in S.V.S.Medical College of Yoga and Naturopathy in Management Quota and joined first year in the course of Bachelor of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS). The petitioner approached the respondent several times and also gave a representation on 02.07.2015 and sought for some sort of scholarship under the Backward Community scheme and since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2015 with respect to grant of scholarship, on merits and in accordance with law, and if found eligible orders be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
