ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No. 184 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions from the Investigation Officer, submitted that the investigation in

this case is under progress and that the respondent Police will be able to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of eight weeks.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.184 of 2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
