2. The petitioner appears to have purchased a patch of land which was auctioned by the Official Liquidator in C.P.No.125 of 1988 after M/s.Mettur Textiles Industry Limited was ordered to be wound up by this Court on 02.07.1993.

3. In this Writ Petition, the petitioner has requested for considering the representation for proper assessment of property tax.

4. I see no impediment in ordering this Writ Petition based on the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition.

5. Therefore, this Writ Petition is allowed with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 12.03.2018 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
