regularize the petitioner's property in S.No.253/1B comprised in the lay out S.Nos.253/1A, 253/1B, 253/2 and 255/B in respect of 2,400 sq. ft. in Plot No.14 at Kadapakkam Village as per G.O.Ms.No.565 dated 26.09.2008 of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

regularize the petitioner's property in S.No.253/2G comprised in the lay out S.Nos.253/1A, 253/1B, 253/2 and 255/B in respect of 2,640 sq. ft. in Plot No.28 at Kadapakkam Village as per G.O.Ms.No.565 dated 26.09.2008 of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

regularize the petitioner's property in S.No.253/1B comprised in the lay out S.Nos.253/1A, 253/1B, 253/2 and 255/B in respect of 2,640 sq. ft. in Plot No.29 at Kadapakkam Village as per G.O.Ms.No.565 dated 26.09.2008 of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

C O M M O N O R D E R With the consent of both sides, these Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. These writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the respondents to regularise the petitioner's properties by considering his applications dated 02.02.2024.

3. Heard Mr. N. Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and Mr. P. Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that he had purchased the subject lands in the year 2004, unaware of the fact that the lands were declared as surplus under the Tamil Nadu Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1978. Therefore, he made applications on 02.02.2024, seeking regularisation under innocent buyers category, relying on G.O.Ms.No. 565/ULC-1/Rev.Dept. Dated 26.09.2008. Since the 1st respondent has not passed any orders on the said applications submitted by the petitioner, he has filed these writ petitions with the above prayer. 4/6

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent concerned will pass appropriate orders on the applications submitted by the petitioner within a reasonable time. He also submit that the said regularisation will be done on certain conditions, subject to the payment of value stated in the Government Order.

6. In such view of the matter, the respondents shall decide the case of the petitioner on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. 05.06.2024 gya Index : Yes/No To
