ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 09.09.2017.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the early hours of 09.09.2017, some unknown persons entered into the site location near Chenniyankiri Valasu Village and unlawfully removed away the High Value ACSR Moose conductors where the petitioner's stringing work was under progress, but was put on hold due to severe right of way issues. He would further submit that the unknown miscreants have stolen a total length of 1600 meters of ACSR Moose Conductors worth about Rs.7,21,869/- and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on 09.092017 ; but so far, no action has been taken.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the said complaint is pending for enquiry. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register the case and proceed in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
