The Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the Family Judge, Vellore, to expeditiously dispose of HMOP.No.26 of 2023 pending on its file.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.Pursuant to my order dated 16.06.2025, the learned Family Judge, 1/4

Vellore, has forwarded a report dated 21.06.2025, wherein he has stated that the Family Court is holding full additional charge of the post of Family Court, Vellore and there are several cases pending under the POCSO Act. Further, the learned Judge has also stated that being the Chairman of the Permanent Lok Adalat and Member of GSIIC, Vellore, the learned Judge requires reasonable time, at least, six months to dispose of HMOP.No.26 of 2023.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. In view of the above, the learned Judge, Family Court, Vellore, is directed to dispose of HMOP.No.26 of 2023, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously, at any rate on or before 31.12.2025. 5.With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
