There is no representation on the side of the respondent.
2. Pursuant to the orders of this Court, the Passport of the minor child had been deposited with the learned Additional Master - I and the same has been kept in bundle.
3. The present application had been taken out for having interim custody of the Passport for enabling the minor child to travel to UK during his summer vacation.
4. Mr.Aravind Subramaniam, learned Senior counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that considering the time line, there may be some hindrance in getting Visa to travel to London. However, if the passport is handed over to the applicant/mother, she would take the child to a location outside India, for which, the Passport is returned.
5. The learned Senior counsel appearing for the applicant undertakes that the passport will be returned directly to the Registry immediately after the return.
6. Recording the said undertaking given by the learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, this Court finds no impediment in ordering the application on the following terms: a) The passport found on the bundle is handed over to the learned Senior counsel appearing for the applicant. b) The applicant/mother is directed to deposit the passport of the minor child with the Registry immediately on return to India not later than 10.06.2025.
c) On deposit of the Passport, the Joint Registrar, Original Side, shall keep the said Passport in a sealed cover.
7. The receipt of the original passport is acknowledged by the instructing counsel Mr.Md.Sajid on behalf of the applicant.
8. In fine, the application in A.No.2166 of 2025 is ordered as prayed for. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 29-04-2025 (1/2) kak To
