ORDER

Heard Ms.R.Sripriya, the learned counsel for the petitioners, and Mr.S.Raghunath, the learned counsel for R1 and R2.

2. The petitioners have filed this writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to regularise their services as per confidential letter in proceedings PAD/IR/D-11, dated 17.02.2012.

3. Mr.S.Raghunath, the learned Counsel for the R1 and R2 submitted that since the petitioners are seeking regularization, they have to

seek remedy only in accordance with Section 2(k) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 before the appropriate forum.

4. Since the petitioners have got an alternative efficacious remedy but the same was not invoked, liberty is given to them to file appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. In view of that all the facts raised by the petitioners and the respondents are left opened.

5. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 28.02.2024 Index: Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order bkn
