This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 137 days in filing the appeal against the acquittal judgement passed in S.C.No.38 of 2021 dated 31.10.2023 on the file of the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirupattur. 2.Though notice has been served on the respondent and his name has been printed in the cause list, none appeared on his behalf.

3. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
