O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 11.09.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one R.Naresh S/o.Ramadeass, Prakash S/o.Siva and Ramu S/o. Elumalai alleging that they attacked the petitioner and abused him in a filthy language. Though the said complaint was given on 11.09.2015, till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, already a case has been registered in Crime No.210 of 2015 for the offences https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323 and 379 IPC and the same is under investigation.

4. Since a case was already registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the prayer that has been made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is closed.
