(Crime No.4069 of 2020) Prayer: This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to extend the time to comply with the conditional order dated 20.08.2020 made in the above Crl.O.P.No.12169 of 2020 directing the petitioner to donate/pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) to the Satkaarya Trust, No.10/46, Periyar Street, Thenpalani Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai-600 099, ICIC Bank, Kilpauk Branch A/C.No.027801002323 IFSC Code No.ICIC0000278.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the conditional order dated 20.08.2020 made in the above Crl.O.P.No.12169 of 2020 directing the petitioner to donate/pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) to the Satkaarya Trust, No.10/46, Periyar Street, Thenpalani Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai-600 099, ICIC Bank, Kilpauk Branch A/C.No.027801002323 IFSC Code No.ICIC0000278. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.12169 of 2020 dated 20.08.2020 with some conditions. Due

to the Corona Pandemic situation, the petitioner could not comply with the conditions within the stipulated period. 3.This Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.12169 of 2020 dated 20.08.2020, on the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that is the petitioner is prepared to donate/pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- to any charitable organization or association without prejudice to his defence. Thereafter the petitioner has filed a petition for extention of time and this Court granted further time to deposit the amount on or before 25.09.2020. Today when this case was listed for reporting compliance, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the amount has not been paid. As per the order dated 20.08.2020, if the petitioner is not paid the amount within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order the petition for anticipatory bail shall stands dismissed automatically. Though the order was made on 28.08.2020, the petitioner did not make any payment.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed and consequently the Original petition for anticipatory bail shall stands dismissed automatically.
