ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Tambaram, to dispose the case in STC No.532 of 2018 expeditiously, in respect of the private complaint for the offences punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though, the complaint has been pending from the year 2018, it has not been disposed and no progress is shown in the trial.
4. In such view of the matter, a direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Tambaram to dispose the case in STC No.532 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
