O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 02.02.2012 in Mu.Mu.2861 of 2011/E passed by the 1st respondent and to quash the same and directing the third respondent to issue legal heirship certificate in favour of the petitioner as the widow of late P.Egambaram, son of (late) Padmanabhan.

2. It is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that during the pendency of the writ petition, a suit was filed for declaration that the petitioner was a legally wedded wife of the deceased person and the suit has been decreed. The impugned order passed by the first respondent also directed the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court to obtain orders.

3. In view of the passing of the decree by the Civil Court, nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition before this Court. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is always open to the petitioner to approach the competent authority for issuance of legal heir certificate on the basis of the decree of the Civil Court. No costs.
