O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 07.12.2013 by following a reminder dated 21.03.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. In the petition, it has been stated that the petitioner was working as PG Assistant, Tamil in SBOA, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Anna Nagar West, Chennai from July 1995 to July 2012. One S.Vasudevan was also working as PG Assistant in the same School. The petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.50,000/- at 2% interest from the said Vasudevan. As the interest were too high, the petitioner was not able to pay the amount. Hence, the petitioner sold his house and paid off the debs. It is further stated that whenever, there is a delay in paying the monthly interest, the said Vasudevan and his family members used to come to the petitioner's house and abused in filthy language by mentioning his caste name. lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 07.12.2013 by following a reminder dated 21.03.2015. But till date, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that both the complaints were enquired into in detail and subsequently, the same were closed on 08.05.2015 and 15.05.2015 and he has also produced the closure report for the perusal of this Court.

4. Since the complaints have already been closed, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., if he so desires.
