Assistant (English) in the Third Respondent institution from the date of the Petitioner joining the said post 1/4

on 12.10.2015 without insisting the Teacher Eligibility Test with all consequential service and monetary benefits within a time to be specified by this Court.

Heard Mr. P.Ganesan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, and Mr. G.Ameedius, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the First and Second Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, approval for the appointment of the Petitioner in the school of the Third Respondent was granted as per interim order passed on 03.10.2016, but she subsequently died on 22.04.2022 and the copy of her death certificate has been produced.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated, but it would not preclude the legal representatives of the deceased Petitioner, if they have any other grievance, to work out their rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
